What the role is for
HFN is delivering a hotel on Victoria Island with an international operator. The structure is up, and the fit-out is now the critical path to opening. It runs across contractors, consultants, the design team and leadership, and this role is the point where all of it meets.
The work is coordination and follow through. Holding the programme, closing actions, and giving leadership a clear and honest view of where the project stands. It is not a technical seat and it is not a cost seat. It exists so that nothing is lost between the site and the board.

What you would do
Hold the programme. Spot slippage early and drive recovery before it becomes a delay.
Run the weekly project meeting. Minutes out quickly, every action with an owner and a date, and every action closed.
Keep the project-wide register moving. Requests for information, submittals, drawing approvals, inspections and defects, each with an owner and a deadline.
Track cost and procurement against budget, and raise variances before they become surprises.
Report weekly to the project team and monthly to the founder. Slippage is reported when it is spotted, not once it is solved.
Handle stakeholders firmly and professionally, and escalate when escalation is the right call.

What we are looking for
Five years or more coordinating or managing projects on high-rise, mixed-use or internationally branded hospitality developments.
Several contractors and consultants managed on a live build, not from a distance.
Follow up without being asked. People know you will chase them.
Clear writing. Minutes and reports that are short, structured and easy to act on.
Comfortable with numbers, budgets and variances.
A degree in construction or project management, architecture, engineering, estate management, quantity surveying or a related field.
Based in Lagos and comfortable working fully on site.
An advantage, not a requirement.
Mechanical and electrical coordination, construction drawings and inspections.
Digital project tools. Notion, monday.com, MS Project or similar.
PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent.

The hard parts
The building is standing and the opening date has already moved. You would be running a recovery programme, not a clean start.
Two other site roles hold adjacent registers. The Project Architect owns the interior design submissions to the design authority, and the Senior Fit-Out Manager owns the finishing trades on the floors. Holding the boundary between the three is part of the job, not an irritation on top of it.
Reporting reaches the founder monthly whether or not the news is good.
